1.  Sim's Vaginal Speculum : Double bladed instrument used to examine vagina and cervix .

these speculum comes in different sizes 

2. Uterine Sound : used to measure the uterocervical length and position of uterus 

3. Vulsellum Forceps :  used to hold the cervix so that instruments can be passed through it .

4. Cervical dilator(HEGAR`S DILATOR) : They are used to dilate cervix . They are double end  

They are made up of  stainless steel 

5.Sims uterine curette : used to remove tissue .

6. specimen container : used to preserve the specimen .

7. bowl and kidney tray : used for painting , soaking gauge piece and pads with distill water or normal saline . 

 

8. sponge holder : used to paint the site , also used to make  peanut to soak the blood .

9. Sims Vaginal Wall Retractor   : used to retract the wall of vagina .

10. cusco's  speculum : self retaining speculum used to inspect / examine vagina and uterus .

11. metal uterine catheter : used to drain urine .

12. C shaped retractor : used to examine vagina and uterus .

 

13. plain forceps or non tooth forceps : used to hold the tissue for biopsy . 

12. ovum forceps : used to remove the tissue from uterus .

 

15. biopsy forceps : used to take biopsy .

 

16. speculum : used to examine vagina and uterus .
